TEXTURE TAKES CENTRE STAGE
SS27 is a tactile season in which fabric becomes just as important as silhouette.
Expect romantic lace, soft fringing and tassels that add movement and dimension. Denim
continues to be a strong category, appearing in fresh washes and contemporary cuts, while
oversized 昀氀orals and expressive prints bring personality to dresses, blouses and separates.
THE NEW SILHOUETTES
Volume remains an important design feature, but it’s more re昀椀ned than in previous seasons.
Rather than oversized proportions for the sake of it, designers are embracing carefully controlled
volume and designed proportions that feel modern and 昀氀attering.
The hero shapes that will continue in the Spring season include: Barrel-leg trousers are an
industry favourite that remain effortlessly cool and Balloon silhouettes will bring soft volume to
trousers, skirts, dresses and sleeves.
